| Steve was asked to help out a few people in the village with some of the first-aid and basic medicines we carry aboard Connect4. The villagers don't have access to medical care unless they travel to a bigger island or the mainland. While we were at Isla Pinos, we were be-friended by this local family at the village. David (the patient) spent some time in Panama City working and studying, so he spoke pretty good english. Probably as a consequence of the time spent on the mainland, his family were a bit more westernised ... particularly in their dress. | |
